Tesoro Detector
Tesoro Electronics is another great company born from one man's vision of having his own company and designing and manufacturing a fine product for treasure hunters. Jack Gifford realized this vision when Tesoro Electronics started producing these fine instruments in 1980.
It took almost a decade before Mr.Gifford's business went fulltime in 1989 and was established in Prescott,Arizona. Mr.Gifford had two Son's whom he trained diligently and started them from the bottom and let them work their way up so that they would be able to take over the business someday. They are Vince and James Gifford.
Mr.Gifford and his wife retired in 2004 and his Sons took over the business fully confident in their ability to keep Tesoro Electronics in the mainstream of treasure hunting and making excellent metal detectors. I love to read of these success stories of a family run busines that was started because of a man's dream.
