I have had this machine for about 3 years now, i have not had any problems with it.my finds have been from lots of clad coins to relics and alot of silver coins,i usually hunt in all coin mode, first then go back over the same ground later in the factory mode, i like to extent my hunts that way. i think you have to take the time to get used to it,then the treasures will come.Average rating:4.3 based on 4 reviews

relic hunting
whether or not your coinshooting or relic hunting the p3 is a great machine once you learn the detector and know what it is telling you. then you'll be pleased. haven't had it long went to a few places that i know i personally have hunted with three other machines including spectrum and this machine found new targets wow!!!!Average rating:4.3 based on 4 reviews

Great beginner detector
I have had the Prism III for just short of a year now and have been very happy. I does make me dig a little more trash than I would like but I dug a penny and just over 8" last night so it does go pretty deep. I will keep this one for a second and I am in the process in upgrading only because I want something with more knobs. Why I don't know but I do.Average rating:4.3 based on 4 reviews

Prizm lll
I have had the prizm III for a few weeks now and I love the weight of this detector! You can detect for hours and still be ready for more! This is a true turn on and go detector! No programing or foreign terms for the beginer. I also like the depth detector on this machine, It gets pretty close to the targets depth but can be off as like any detector depending on the size of a target! I was surprised how well it did on the beach I found pretty deep targets and in the wet sand I had to turn down the Sens. but it did quite well.The reason for the four stars out of five is that I cant quite pinpoint as well as I can with my White's Classic ID. I can get close but my recovery time has gone down with the prizm so a pinpointer may come in handy with this machine! Over all a GREAT STARTER machine!!
