202/qdII
have been using a 202 for some time, read that it is the exact machine as qdII, only built for walmart. this unit is light and has been very dependable. I use both the stock 8" coil and also have a 4". both coils are productive and have used the 202 for hunting in dirt and on the beach with great success. well worth the money to jump start your mding adventure.Average rating:4.5 based on 2 reviews

The Bounty Hunter QD II
I am new to Metal Detecting and I did my research and thought that Bounty Hunter was the way to go for my first machine. The QD II is affordable and loaded with features. I do mostly beach hunting now, so that is where my experience with the QD II is. The machine works well, depth range is usually within 2 inches. As with all machines, learning it is key. The more hunts I go on, the more I find and the quicker I find it. The one problem I found is that on very wet sand, the machine is erratic. It beeps constantly and you need to change the sensitivity to accurately find objects. I have not had much luck finding things in the wet sand. On dry sand it works great. It's light and the batteries last a long time. I recommend the Quick Draw II to all beginners.Average rating:4.5 based on 2 reviews
